Have Pakistan and India Collaborated to end Terrorism in Kashmir?

Published 3 years ago on November 23, 2017

Terrorism in Kashmir has been going on for a very long time, but how suddenly Kashmiri terrorists are getting eliminated at such a rapid pace? India always had a network of agents working in Kashmir, besides large armed forces to quell the rebellion, but what is the new Indian strategy to counter Terrorism in Kashmir?

There are very few Pakistan leaders that the Indian people respect and topping the list is former Pakistan PM Benazir Bhutto. The Indian strategy of countering the terrorism in Kashmir can be strongly linked to the eradication of Sikh militancy from Punjab during the Khalistan movement.

The Khalistan movement abruptly ended when then Prime Minister of Pakistan, Benazir Bhutto, handed all intelligence material regarding Khalistani movement and terrorism in Punjab to the Indian government, as a goodwill gesture to then Indian PM – Rajiv Gandhi.

The Indian government led by KPS Gill used all that intelligence to track and eliminate all terrorists who were behind terrorist activities in Punjab. Until this day, the majority of pro-Khalistan Sikhs around the world hate Benazir Bhutto as they think she backstabbed them.

Pakistan, off late, has been under immense pressure (due to the new Trump Administration) to end supporting and harboring activities of terrorism in Kashmir and Afghanistan.

Recently, Pakistan Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi rejected the idea of an independent Kashmir”, saying it was not based on “reality”. Pakistan PM Abbasi was addressing a conference on ‘Future of Pakistan 2017’ which was held at the prestigious London School of Economics.

On a question about “Independent Kashmir“, PM Abbasi said, “the idea is often floated, but has no reality”. Reacting over the statement of Pakistan Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi wherein he rejected the idea of an “Independent Kashmir”, former JKLF chief Yasin Malik said instead of issuing statements that may create confusion, it is important to highlight the miseries of Kashmiris across the world. The leader of JKLF (H) Javaid Ahmad Mir also said the statement of Pakistan PM Abbasi as ‘disheartening.’

President Donald Trump recently said that U.S. “can no longer be silent” about terrorist safe havens in Pakistan. He says Pakistan often gives sanctuary to “agents of chaos, violence, and terror, in the South Asian region, referring to Terrorism in Kashmir and Afghanistan. Donald Trump has clearly said that Pakistan has much to gain from partnering with the U.S. and much to lose from supporting terrorists.

Since Pakistan has been under immense pressure by the Trump administration to fight terrorism, has Pakistan agreed to join hands with India to eliminate terrorism in Kashmir, just like Rajiv Gandhi and Benazir Bhutto’s collaboration to end the Khalistani movement?

Indian army is killing civilians in a blatant genocide and claiming they are terrorists. The Kashmiris themselves are to blame, still selling Indian products in their shops in the UK and elsewhere. I was totally flabbergasted at the greed and stupidity of the Kashmiri shop owners. It's time to start talking to them.

A very significant aspect of Kashmir dispute and almost nobody is interested. I had to tag members.

In ur dreams. Only thing eradicated from kashmir will be indian forces.

It is my believe that India is buying some equipment to handle things she experienced on 27th of Feb, in the background. If that happened, India will do the same with PAF, as it did in 1971.
Pakistan must do something, before that happens.

You're tagging me for a 2017 article?

Terrorism will certainly end in Kashmir and the group of city states, territories and dependencies known as mainland "India". It is a matter of time before the hindutva state and its military apparatus is dismantled and the people of Gangadesh are redeployed to tasks that actually improve the lives and livelihoods of their nations. Hindutva terror will end. We are seeing its desperation in its attacks against civilians in Kashmir and Pakistan of late. Desperation, nothing more. The hammer and anvil of Pakistan and China now hovers with the hindutva terror state caught firmly in between the iron brothers. Even brave Nepal will step up and add fuel to the fires of hindutva's impending demise.

All that is needed now is a spark.

But, Inshallah, it will one day... And there would be no Terrorist occupation of Kashmir.

Lol bharti frustration is growing with every passing day. They know they have lost Kashmir forever with all the angry neighbors around. No international support on Kashmir issue and a recent beating from China.
Indian forces are the only terrorists in Kashmir valley.

Ex Interior Minister Aitzaz Ahsan said many time on tv channels that all Khalistan terror related news are fabricated. Pakistan never provide list or collaborate with India. Khalistan movement is totally home grown.
