You should stop taking Dawn seriously because no other News source has reported such comment from Richardson...

Secondly we havn't lost that match intentionaly and EVEN IF and that's a Big Big IF we lost it intentionally then consider it as the payback for your last ball lost by giving 2 runs as byes against Australia in 2009 Championship Trophy which put us out of that tournament...So Payback is a bitch...

Dude, our batting is abysmal, has been for quite a few matches now including the one with BD. We did come close to that mammoth total with England.
It’s pathetic how Pakistanis are using the Indian team as scape goats for their 3rd class performance. We faced you and defeated you soundly in a one sided match. All the ‘experts’ you can find are either pakistanis or their support staff reps. Pathetic!

It was more of a case of good bowling and shitty batting at the end. TBH Kohli and his men have shown lot of positive game spirit this tournament (urging Indian fans not to boo smith, talking and encouraging mashrafe yesterday during post match presentation etc). Apart from this, there is no visible discord between both teams on field (evident from match conduct and body language).

Keeping the conspiracy theories aside (like any sane person would do), it's just a case of either really shitty batting or preserving the NRR once the realization of defeat had set in.

Was it right approach ? Don't think so (which justifies the flak dhoni/jadhav are getting)

Just because the Pakistani team sometimes defeats these white teams, they get the impression that they play at the same level as England, AU and NZ. You are right, we would prefer a semi final match with Pakistan/SL/BD any day than these other white teams as there is a huge difference in their standards. Asian teams are not as competitive as these gora teams, and in the last 2 -3 matches, any white team would have exploited our team’s weaknesses and won, Afghanistan and BD couldn’t but England could.
