I get that easter is the resurrection of christ. But what does the rabbit hiding the eggs represents?

I get that easter is the resurrection of christ. But what does the rabbit hiding the eggs represents?

Supposedly because Easter is based on a festival of fertility celebrated by ancient pagans all over the world. Both the eggs and the bunny are a symbol of fertility, maybe you've heard the phrase "breed like rabbits" before.

Some Muslims will take this to "prove" that Christianity is a false religion based on pagan roots, but I see that as the pot calling the kettle black, as Islamic holidays also have pagan origins.
