Half of all Afghan district centers under Taliban control - U.S. general

Today the Taliban captured the Arghandab district of Kandahar province.

Seems they are having fun. He laughs at how the enemies are scared of the mujahideen. He even says look at the motivation, this guy carrying the heavy crate on his head 😂.

This district has switched sides many times recently, Taliban have retaken it today again. Saying that the area you have identified is heavily fortified and mountainous. The population is pro-Pushtunistan and anti-Pak also. I think the Taliban will not put their resources there at the moment as they are probably overstretched, lets see you never know.

This is not about the tribes that are pro Pushtunistan or anti-Pakistan rather ISKP presence (an Indian proxy which is directly under control/locally operated through Saleh) and also TTP which has great Indian penetration. Taliban are weak there because of repeated offensive and counter offensive against ISKP which has taken its toll.
TTP safe heavens are in those areas.
Besides all that KPF a CIA militia operates in those areas and is responsibke for protection of proxy assets.

(The incident where ISKP leadership was shipped away by NDS in helicopters after Taliban went theough some areas some times back)

ISKP presence
They are based in some districts of Kunar far away from Torkham, the map is a year old.

Yep they are based in Nangarhar, Khost, Gardez and Logar provinces.

Along with Afghan warlords and ANDSF. Jalalabad which houses the Mausoleum of Bacha Khan has always been a hotbed of Pushtoon nationalism. The Indian consulate here is known to fund all anti-Pakistan elements.

This zone comprising the four provinces mentioned earlier is very formidable for the Taliban. It will be far easier for them to take Kandahar and parts of Kabul than to get bogged down here atm. Just my two cents

Yes they held territory in kunar but Afghan Taliban took them on and dislodged them into hiding, taliban took losses aswell and in the end Kabul forces took the territory. Now ISKP is regrouping from hiding but do not formally control any territory.

Jalalabad was once a taliban stronghold before coalition forces came. Its proximity to Pakistan made it the ideal location to support proxies like TTP and ISKP.

Yes it is the most difficult territory for Afghan Taliban and has been offering the most resistance since the begining. Pakistan has to end this neutrality and start doing covert operations more frequently/or simple provide man power to Taliban. There are Indian personel operating on ground in these areas.
