India’s state-owned Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) plans to export assorted spares and accessories for the engines that power the Indian Air Force’s Sukhoi Su-30MKI and Mikoyan MiG-29 combat aircraft to foreign air forces that also operate the two Russian-developed fighter types.

A memorandum of understanding (MoU) signed by HAL on 7 February with Russia’s defence export agency Rosoboronexport envisages the export of Saturn AL-31FP and Klimov RD-33 engine components and services to “friendly countries”.

“The parties will subsequently sign an agreement on mutually agreed terms and conditions,” the MoU states, without elaborating further.

HAL officials told Jane’s that possible customers for AL-31FP-related spares include Algeria, Angola, Armenia, Indonesia, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, and Vietnam, while those for RD-33-related parts comprise Algeria, Bangladesh, Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Mongolia, Myanmar, and Serbia.

The mighty vedic aviation industry looking to export spares. Freaking hilarious...:rofl:
So, is the $500M credit to be used for buying RD-33 spares although there is no sign of accepting the loan yet from BD. I think it's high time to retire the MiGs so that BAF doesn't get screwed by HAL screws.....

Bangladesh didn’t buy a single screw originating from India for the mig 29s and never will. With their poor track record (selling rejected phased out parts as brand new to Indian Air Force for their sukhois) good luck getting any international customers. Bangladesh will rather phase out the migs than keep them flying with rising operational costs

Thanks :P ....Let the crying in here begin lol.

You have to see their faces when they see what boeing manufactures/orders from India now.

If only rage and jealousy could help rejuvenate their falling underwear exports!
You probably understand the mindset of our military people. They are not willing to do military purchases from a country they regard as hostile. Our military doctrine has been set at an anti-India stance.

Dear India, No more military credit, please!!

We have not accepted the military loan that your govt tried to push through our throat. It is rotting in your Reserve Bank of India vault. Collect it and spend the money to build a few toilets.

From an armed forces which never purchased even a single bullet from India, suddenly will buy Mig-29 engine spare parts from them? Delusion should have a limit even for Indian standards.

This malcontent stupid-f*ck Sanghi troll has 18 negatives to his 'credit' and comes here to tell us what to do. Their defence minister (that moron idiot from Goa and the new one, Parrikar) made like three trips to Dhaka, begging us to take the credit. He didn't even get to meet the PM.

500 Million 'credit' was the friggin' MOU, it wasn't even a signed agreement. Hell will freeze over when these cheap Kanjoos f*cks actually part with their money - Good Luck!

The only power-project they even had any part in, hasn't even started in three years, while the Chinese one started at the same time is producing power now. Lazy incompetent good-for-nothing Sanghi idiots.

We should tell these Kanjoosis to pay the hundreds of crores they owe us for transit fees. They have been avoiding to pay that for over two years now.

My bank offers me credit without me asking for it. I do not go around whining day and night to every dick and harry that they are forcing it down my throat. If I did that than I would be classed as a Lunatic. As you and Bluesky clearly cry at being offered credit you should take it to the UN or OIC . Cry and Cry and complain to WTO , why India offer credit. You should do that . Makes you look more like fools than you already are
