By the way, just curious, why in Pakistan among my certain friends who drink whiskey, is more popular than Beer or Vodka?? Why is that, is it taste or something popular among Pakistani locals?

Goes to the head quicker, 50-60% alcohol.. one sip and they think they are superman. Also they think they are being western by drinking whisky. Drinking whiskey is a cursed tradition amongst senior officers. Zia Ul-Haq cleaned it up, but the whiskey drinkers didn't like it so they had him knocked off. Some general sold their soul to the CIA/KGB for a bottle of Scotch whiskey or Russian vodka, or a green card to eliminate him.

Yes exactly that what I thought, it's a bit of fashion coolness to drink this brand.
People can get drink on beer, but they'd rather go for whiskey. In west no one drinks this instead Vodka more in fashion.
I don't drink but just analyzing.
