In order to secure Gwadar's future, it has to be separated from Baluchistan province. As long as its under the Baluchistan provincial government's jurisdiction there is always the potential of it suffering the same fate as Karachi which is under PPP's hegemony. Gwadar and Karachi can actually be united into a new province or federal administrative area.

Though fencing of Gwadar is part of Smart city Master plan, but it is not being follwed as described in Master plan . Almost half of the planned city shown in above master plan will be outer side of this fence. This will create problems for not only investors but also the local population.
Fencing should be carried out covering at least all the planned area in Master plan. With this fencing, the Naval anchorage society of Navy will also be outside of the fence which is not good . We are doing good work in wrong way
