Most of the capable CM's are from BJP, running different States.

However none of them are as good in marketing though equally good in administration as Modi. Modi has been able to capture the imagination of a significant number of Indians.

And so within the BJP, Modi has been chosen to lead the party against Congress in the coming elections.

BJP can only field one man as the main contendor for the Prime Ministership, and Modi has been chosen for that, so the rest have to take a back seat.

Not as popular. Being good administrator doesn't mean being popular. It is a rare art, to have both. And to be able to overpower both your own party members and opposition. You guys are lucky you don't have to go through the mess that is politics!

The last time I voted (HK elections), the race was between three people for the top post, and 2 out of 3 of those people were corrupt.

India seems to be in the exact same position. 2 out of 3 choices for the top job are corrupt.

There are other ministers also like Shivraj singh chauhan but they are of same party i.e. BJP,Modi is also in BJP.
Every party can field only one candidate for PM's post and BJP has decided to field Modi thats why he is more famous than others.
