A survey conducted by Ipsos Mori found that Indians are the most ignorant about their own countries.

The 2016 Index of Ignorance includes information from 27,250 interviews of people aged 16 to 64 carried out between September and November last year. Populations from 40 countries, with between 500 and 1,000 people surveyed in each, participated in the survey.

Participants were asked a number of questions about their society, including their country’s population, healthcare spending, home ownership and the proportion of Muslims living in their country.

The economic status of a country seemed to have less bearing on the results than might be expected.

The USA ranked as one of the most ignorant countries, below many less developed countries.

In fairness, India has made positive progression. It's rich in Art, it's produced some of the finest educants working in global markets.

Pakistan needs to work on being globally competitive by branding itself out there, moulding and modernising their ways (even if home is cultural) but to go to outter parts there has to be changes of strategy and approach.

Pakistan entertainment industry needs to be supported by its people and there has to be less focus on 'look at her clothes' - her clothes are nothing compared to likes of mujra style era the Country had to suffer. Pakistani celebrities need to be marketed and local artists should be made priority.

More concerts of Pakistani artists should be set up.

Pakistan needs to own it's own media outlet and organisations on an international platform.

We need more Music channels, so more music videos can be made and music is promoted. Pakistan produces one of the finest and diverse music known worldwide. However, due to closure of music channels means artists have no choice but to work elsewhere to stream their talent.

Pakistan needs a good polish.
