India is a movie powerhouse, both in national language Hindi and regional movies like Tamil, Telugu, Marathi and Bangla.
Each year we produce world record movies, and they are becoming better and better..... our genres are not like alien invasion type of movies but what we make is absolutely best.
be it 'Bahubali' or 'Dangal' or 'Andhadhun' .... these are one of the bests from both regional and national cinema which went on conquer the world....

we don't have to become like Hollywood... but Hindi cinema will grow much much bigger than what it is today, with regional cinema giving its best as well.... coming years will bring much more glory to our cinema....

Except Indian diaspora overseas, nobody follow Bollywood. Modi is probably more famous than any Bollywood star. Better off casting Modi in some movies role, romantic hero or some sort.

It does have a sizeable following in gulf even in China. Earlier during Soviet era Bollywood was quite popular in many communist states.
