ISLAMABAD - Balochistan Chief Minister Abdul Malik Baloch has said his government will take all stakeholders, including the opposition, into confidence while resolving the problems facing Balochistan. Talking to VOA on Friday, he said the other priorities of his government would include restoration of peace, putting up Balochistan back on track of progress, revival of its economy, provision of employment opportunities to the jobless youth and improvement of health and education sectors in the province. Baloch said Balochistan's indigenous resources would be spent on development work in the province, adding Nawaz Sharif had assured him of complete cooperation after assuming charge as prime minister. He said his cabinet would comprise ministers from the National Party, Pakhtunkhwa Milli Awami Party and the Muslim League-N. The chief minister said the challenges his government was faced with included, violation of human rights including the missing persons issue, the bullet-riddled bodies of political workers, the sectarian violence and restoration of peace in the province. Baloch said his government would focus on education and considerable resources would be diverted to the sector. “Similarly, health sector will also be improved,” he added. "Our priority will be development for the future generations and will provide them better educational institutions and health facilities. Our government will provide 21st century facilities to the people of Balochistan," he said. Regarding the projects of Reko Diq and Gwadar port, Baloch said no project could succeed in Balochistan until the people of the province as well as the government were taken on board. - See more at: Govt to resolve Balochistan issues with mutual interaction: Baloch | Pakistan Today | Latest news | Breaking news | Pakistan News | World news | Business | Sport and Multimedia
