ISLAMABAD – Federal Minister for Religious Affairs, Syed Khursheed Shah has said that the PPP government would give a pleasant surprise with regard to caretaker government.

Talking to reporters at Parliament House on Monday, he said that his statement about disqualification of PML-N President Mian Nawaz Sharif after release of the verdict in Asghar Khan case was published in the wrong context.

He said that he had stated only that the people would decide about the fate of Mian Nawaz Sharif.

Answering a question, he said that President Asif Ali Zardari enjoys a Constitutional position and he does not need endorsement from anyone including PML-N in this regard.

Syed Khursheed Shah has said that Bilawal Bhutto Zardari will address a moot on December 27th and will thus enter formally into practical politics. He said that Bilawal could contest by-polls but his age was lesser than the legitimate age for participating in the elections.

The Assemblies could be dissolved if there aroused a serious scenario, he stated.
