Govt ready to meet all IMF demands to revive loan programme

With every passing day, it becomes clear that the current lot did not have any plan to deal with economic issues . They ganged up with Army purely for political reasons and getting relief from judicial cases. It's amazing how Judiciary and Media helped them achieve this goal. Imran should highlight their roles as well.

Sir ji still 99 percent population don t pay taxes and govt fails to stop corruption and money laundering.
Everyone pays the indirect taxes on commodities and just about anything which the people buy. It's the waderas and feudals which don't pay any direct taxes, and many other powerful cults and mafias.

Reports like Oxfam are the biggest bullshit one can write using statistics. This report claims that the analysis of 'Selective goods' (mostly consumption goods) GST shows that 70% of GST is contributed by 'poor' people.

Who in the hell checks the salary slip while selling the products? Also, there are no corresponding indicators which point to who is purchasing the products.

So enjoy this amazing report proving - Lies, White lies, and statistics order.

It doesn't matter what bakhts think, same Oxfam said 1% Pakistan control 9% of wealth. And this report is quoted by all in Pakistan to prove elite capture. Meanwhile working class Indians on PDF defend their elite.

Even if they get a free and fair election, the impact of these economic prudence policy will be felt for a decade.
This is why policies need to be in place to attract FDI in a big way, to grow out of the problem.

Of course. Pakistan as a qaum is lazy AF.

But had the Qasim, which has lived under these conditions been spoiled by System. How much can we blame the average person, the onus lies with those at the top setting the rules of the game and stacking the deck against anyone willing to buck the trend.

We need a shift that favors Hard work over wealth, and the potential everyone always speaks about will finally get to be visible, attracting investment naturally.

Time to do a land reform, like what India did in 1950-60. No huge land ownership and Vadrea-type peoples. Control of elites will come down in one shot.
You have people like Bilawal who are billionaires and own thousands of acres of land in Sindh. I believe he inherited it from his great grand father who was dewan of Junagadh. In 75 years this inheritance is still in their family circles. If your elites still own so much land, how will they reform your system.
