Featured Govt moves to withdraw Kharqamar case against PTM leaders,

Basically, much like Khadim Rizvi and every other anti-state movement; we’re seeing the limitations of the current government and the ability of the opposition to use such abilities to topple it. JUI is essentially full political support to PTM and has conveyed the same to establishment - and now PML(N) and PPP have thrown in their weight as well.

Unfortunately, the only option left after these internal enemies have colluded is “Hatyaar daal do!”
Tou phir hojaye civil war ... ya to civil war ya accept defeat.

The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has reportedly decided to withdraw a case registered against Pashtun Tahaffuz Movement (PTM) leaders and workers relating to a clash with security personnel at the Kharqamar military checkpost last year, according to a media report on Friday.

The case was registered by the Counter-Terrorism Department, Bannu last year against multiple PTM workers for allegedly attacking a security checkpost on May 26, 2019 in the Kharqamar area. Three people were killed and 15 were injured, including five soldiers, in the clash. Senior PTM members and MNAs Mohsin Dawar and Ali Wazir were nominated in the case along with others.

According to the media report, the KP government on March 16 filed an application in the Bannu anti-terrorism court saying that the government wished to withdraw the case, which was being heard in Abbottabad due to security reasons. The application was filed on behalf of the State through Bannu district public prosecutor and ATC Bannu’s senior public prosecutor.

“The state/government as per instructions of the provincial government […] with reference to the prevailing situation, we intend to withdraw prosecution of the subject case,” the application read.

The report quoted a court official as saying that the court is yet to fix a date for the hearing of the application.

The move to withdraw the case comes days after the PTM accepted the government’s offer for talks but called for confidence-building measures (CBM) to demonstrate sincerity.

Maybe cancelling such cases are parts and parcel of some foreign aid. You know political strings are always attached to such grants.

Highly possible.

It was Khadim Rizvi and his fellow mullahs who issued fatwas against TTP and received the death threats. Meanwhile stooges like Imran Khan were playing the role of TTP apologists blaming own armed forces for killing "innocent" and "apnay bachay" in tribal areas!

In other news 4 soldiers were martyred for a cost of 4 terrorists.

We need to go back to 09 when such snakes were liquidated without any regard for what log kia kahengey.

Several terrorist leaders from my village were disposed off like that back then.
