Govt begins conciliatory politics: PM

LAHORE: Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani said the government commenced the political culture of reconciliation in the country by putting an end tradition of political revenge, Geo News reported Sunday.
The PM Gilani said this while talking to Punjab Governor Salman Taseer who called on him at the PMs residence in Defence.
Both the leaders mulled over various issues including national politics and flood-spawned situation facing the country.
The PM Gilani said the government has the rehabilitation of the flood affectees as the top priority and the efforts for the purpose will be kept up at every level.
The PM Yousuf Raza said the political parties and public are united for the early rehabilitation of the affectees.
The premier lauded the efforts undertaken up by the Punjab governor saying the federal government will give more help if needed by the provinces.
