Raj Thackeray made this sensational claim while addressing a party function in suburban Vikhroli.

Maharashtra Navnirman Sena Chief Raj Thackeray has alleged that the government is planning to stage riots on the Ram mandir issue.
Addressing a party function in Suburban Vikhroli, Thackeray claimed that he got a call from Delhi informing about the designs to stage riots. "I got a phone from Delhi this morning and it is quite serious. In days to come, there will be riots in the name of Ram mandir and there are talks with Owaisi for that", he alleged.
"The present government has no substantial work to show and they have no option left than to create riots between Hindus and Muslims", he added.
Raj said that the recent verbal spat between Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and AIMIM Chief Asaduddin Owaisi were a trailer of what is to come.
During Telangana assembly election rally, Adityanath had hit out at Owaisi saying that if BJP is voted to power, Owaisi will be forced to flee from Hyderabad like the Nizam. Hitting back at Yogi, Owaisi had said that India is his father's country and no one can force him to flee.
Attacking Yogi Adityanath, Raj said, "I always wonder whether he is a chief minister. Till date, he has never spoken one word about the state's development. He only talks about hatred between castes and religion."
"The other day he had a great realisation that Hanuman was Dalit. Have we ever even thought of the caste of Ram or Hanuman? But you all should understand these designs to shape the politics in days to come. Whatever Yogi spoke about Owaisi is just the beginning", MNS chief said.
Appealing people and the cops of the state to stay alert Raj warned people to keep the vigil about the designs to stage riots.
Meanwhile, AIMIM leader and MLA Waris Pathan have demanded Raj Thackeray's arrest for threatening and creating panic from a public stage over his sensational allegations.
"He should be immediately taken into custody by Mumbai Police. If he has such information (about riots) he should share the details of his phone calls with the police" Pathan demanded.
Calling the allegations of a tacit understanding between the AIMIM and BJP as baseless, Pathan said that Raj was using the name of Owaisi to regain his lost ground in politics.
