I found Nadeem Malik's behaviour really immature. As a journalist, he should expect to be criticised, even verbally abused, for doing his job. This clip cuts off before he starts threatening those who criticised him with naming them.Government should invite him to get the contract and then put him in jail
even journalist take interviews of real terrorist let alone economic and its job of journalist to present views of others....why bash them for doing their job
He has a huge platform to express his own views and criticise others. Obviously he cannot be verbally abusive because of journalistic norms and standards. But those criticising his interview of Ishaq Dar do not have this platform. The verbal abuse, while unethical, should be expected in informal, social media communications.
And Fawad Chaudhry is right, freedom of expression goes both ways. If you want the freedom to express all the nonsense that you do (and Nadeem Malik does), then you cannot object to the freedom of expression of others.
Does that mean that in your view, the court's decision was incorrect?Still much better than the joker Asad Umar.
