Lucknow, Nov 2 (PTI) A 17-year-old girl was attacked and her three fingers chopped off by four youths in Itaunja area, police said here today. Ranjana, a class 12th student, was dragged out of a tempo by the youths, who brutally beat her up and then chopped off three fingers of her right hand before fleeing from the spot, police said.

Ranjana''s kin alleged that Kailash alias Painter, a resident of Madiaon, mastered the attack. Painter suspected that Ranjana had created hindrance in his marriage with a girl living in the victim''s village, police said.

An FIR had been lodged against Painter and his three aides in this connection, they said.

as it is understable, that pakistan is in influence of american war in afghanistan, though you are isolated from this war, what is stoping you to provide 'good news' on human development, shameless isnt it???

yep, entire blame goes to US war in AF. even if US left AF today, talibans soon will come to Pakistan as well. so you should be thankful that US is stopping them in AF.

human development, actually i was talking more of in terms of economy. because these social problems exists everywhere, it's just more in some places.

pakistan and taliban co existed for ten years with peace, what makes you think US did any better to come here, it was peace for ten years and then US came and we are worried for peace for ten years
