GET OUT: Russian fighter takes on F-15

Territorial airspace violations cannot assumed to be hostile. Most are completely innocuous and are done by civilians, usually from poor navigation caused by technical issues and/or inadequate flight training. So an armed response -- shooting -- is completely wrong. If an armed response is the first response, there would not be an interception in the first place. The fact that there is an interception means everyone wants to have %100 confirmation of who is flying out there. If military pilots are ordered to violate territorial airspace, it will be of hostile intent.
Sir, we are discussing Military here, reference to video posted. please advise accordingly. Thanks.

I am USAF veteran. F-111 Cold War, then F-16 Desert Storm. What I posted is perfectly inline with the video.

What the Russian pilot did was unprofessional, unsafe, and absolutely unnecessary, and Russia knows it.

I know and I understand that.
But question was, Russian Fighter entered into USA territorial Air Space, intercepted well withing USA Air Space (Same like F15 intercepted within Russian Air Space). So USA will try to escort out / make a maneuver to force intruder to get out, or ......

You gave me all the ROE and scenarios but skip the actual question, Now I am asking straight.

If you are not comfortable answering, I understand.

Where in that video does it said the F-15 was in Russian airspace? Let us begin with that.

You did not waste my time. You just exposed your own biases and failure to think it thru.

We 'ran away'?

Show me one pilot of -- any nationality -- who is going to fly straight ahead to take a collision like in that situation. The F-15 pilot 'ran away'?

a simple scenario and you running around the bush.....who exposed who, it is very clear.

Good bye.

It happens all the time that military aircraft enters the air space of other countries.
They are intercepted, and are escorted out of the air space.
It is the odd event that someone actually takes a shot at them
.
When Turkey shot down a Russian jet, they were continuously violsting Turkey air space in the same way, and continued to do so despite warnings, so then Turkey decided to teach them a lesson.

. . .
then why go into Russian air space and take panga?

It's not Russian airspace. It is near Russian air space. The jets are still within international airspace. Russia however, rightfully so, does not like this aggressive attitude.

So what USA is trying to achieve if they can not even fly in International Air Space?

Alright Sir, i apologize for wasting your valuable time.

It's not in Russian airspace. This is NATO or "International airspace" which is close to border.

Russian jets have been intercepted in Baltic sea, I think, as well as Russian bombers have been intercepted somewhere east of UK.

The issue is that NATO performs exercises and deploys its jets in its European member countries which are close to Russian border, Russia regards this as an aggressive posture so it sends its own aircrafts near to their airspace as well.

So what USA is trying to achieve if they can not even fly in International Air Space?

What?
