Germany: Syrian Hairdresser Hailed As ‘Model of Integration’ Slits His Female Employer’s Throat

. . .
I can't believe that people are defending this!

How is any of this the fault of Hindus? Yet we have two pages dedicated to ball- less- ness of Hindus

How is this in any way the fault of Europeans ?

And we have people trash talking Europeans and insulting their liberal tendencies- which very same liberalism is what offered this guy refuge in the first place!

So it's necessary to treat Muslims fairly but not gays?

What medieval logic is that!

Truly Muslims have no sense of a need for respecting anyone other than themselves.

Tried their best to derail it but we're in deeper than ever and discussing the real core of the problem.

as an informed observer, I can say without doubt that concepts such as the goddess etc which celebrate the woman and femininity, will find no space in a belief system like the arab one.

not religious, don't care much for any of them, Abrahamic or not.. but they are not all equal and some are just worse than others.

not sure if it counts but i do remember growing up and ol' granny would perform a lot of the hocus pocus around havans etc, never had much interest in all that.

p.s . bring back Adil when it comes to this stuff, will ya ? please ? :(

You are not getting it.

Women menstruate. Every culture on earth, in humanity, regardless of religion, has taboos surrounding that.

Bash Islam if you must. But not on something where every religion and culture is the same.

Cheers, Doc

All other systems have evolved and continue to adapt to the changing realities of the world.

“If someone is gay and searches for the Lord and has good will, who am I to judge?”

it's this refusal to evolve, like they could continue hating gays etc but at least stop capital punishment for it ? not happening anytime soon..

all the rest of the jihadi stuff, like this case about the Syrian refugee who slit his woman employer's throat, has it's roots in the "holy" texts, all of it.

which is also why the liberal muslims' voice will always be drowned out by the islamist mob, the theology and scriptures are all on their side.

in Islam, the argument ends with those scriptures, you're not allowed to question it, it's "perfect"

I'm not here to defend Islam. Also you are confusing me by jumping from position to position without taking one to its natural conclusion.

So now from bashing Islam about women not leading prayer, you've jumped to gays.

Either way, speaking of evolution, I've evolved to the point where I do not confuse my views on Islam and where it came from, from who, and how, to how I engage with our own Muslims.

I suggest you do the same.

Cheers, Doc

No,in fact it is you who have been striving hard to derail this thread since page one.

anywho, back on topic, shall we ?

the actions of this Syrian refugee, slitting his woman employer's throat, and that he had recently become all religious etc, all of it has an explanation if you look at the texts.

RTFM !

.
BS linkage.

You cant link this event, if actually even true, to Islam.

Mental illness, personal gripes, other issues we don't know of? Any number of reasons.

But to say that this even is sanctioned by the religion is utterly false and intellectually dishonest.

It's the way of nature, the powerful prey on the weak, you see this in the animal kingdom too. No doubt the "goras" have made their share of mistakes (and continue to do so) but there is no one evil ideology driving them. They are a diverse people, they invented most/all of the things we take for granted today. They're not colonizing anyone anymore, slavery is abolished, and like fools they are taking in millions from Syria etc, people who only know jihad and murder.

You seriously have childish views of very serious matters ........ don't get me wrong buddy, attending Sanghis gathering is fine but totally relying on whatever bullshit they are feeding the young children is not cool. And I am sure any intelligent person won't like being turned into a brain dead zombie ..... deprived of thinking at all.

Your jibes at Islam are totally based on your failure to realise that any individual Muslim's acts may or may not be in accordance with guidance of Islam. You think of Islam as a religion, I believe in Islam as a way of life ..... when the medieval people were burning people for just believing that Earth, moon and sun may be revolving in orbits, Quran clearly mentioned it 1400+ years ago ........... embryology and many other scientific things which no one would believe back then are mentioned in Quran ......... I have no intentions of lecturing you on Quran but stop your non sense hatred for Islam without even studying the source itself........ just because Sanghis say so doesn't mean it is the truth.

Some of my comments here may have been provocative but it doesn't change the fact that all jihadi violence has it's roots in the scriptures, but which is also not to say that it is an indictment of all muslims.

Also, not a RSS member, there are others on PDF who are.

Will you be comfortable if I explain the same scriptures the way I understand them? Would you accept my explanation too as you believe in their's?

For instance and related to your mentioning of Jihad and then the word violence

Here are two consecutive verses from Quran (22:39 & 22:40) (you can google yourself and read the translation)

The background of these verses is grant of permission to Muslims to fight (22:39) and fight for what (22:40)

"Permission [to fight] has been given to those who are being fought, because they were wronged. And indeed, Allah is competent to give them victory." 22:39

"[They are] those who have been evicted from their homes without right - only because they say, "Our Lord is Allah ." And were it not that Allah checks the people, some by means of others, there would have been demolished monasteries, churches, synagogues, and mosques in which the name of Allah is much mentioned. And Allah will surely support those who support Him. Indeed, Allah is Powerful and Exalted in Might." 22:40

Muslim army fighting not only to defend themselves but to protect monasteries, churches, synagogues and mosques. Do you see any discrimination?

The problem is you are accepting whatever is being fed to you without even bothering to confirm it. For example Jihad is now used in a very negative sense .......... and most of the people who use it that way, are not even 1% familiar with its meaning ..... all they know is "Kital" and they keep confusing it with Jihad .... which (Kital) by the way happens to be a part of overall Jihad concept ...... that too with lots of restrictions ......... as you may see in above mentioned verses.

So my friend I believe in the scriptures you are referring to .......... I understand what is written there. As I said I don't want to lecture you on Quran and what's written in there ....... but it would be fair if you could first check the source yourself before criticizing it.
