Honestly i don´t understand the fuss about this. This is a defense forum. Weapons from germany are world class and anyone who denies this is an absolute moron. Germany can make business deals with evryone it wants. Israel happanes to be our ally. We buy weapons from them, they buy weapons from us. This is a one billion $ deal. Germany pays a small subsidy of 125 million €. Thats totally normal. When France made a similar deal with india, nobody gave a shit about it but when it is israel all hell breaks lose.

P.s.: We did not only sell dolphin class subs to Israel. We build them with an extra. Israel is able to nuclear arm them. Yep thats right, german dolphin class subs make israel 2nd strike able and make it untouchable.

And by the way, it was Palestinian morons who attacked a german cruise ship at port in Haifa and the israeli iron dome that protected it

It's a good move.Israel needs all the help it can get to defend itself in that region and it must be given to them.I don't agree with Israel's new settlement program but in no way should this interfere with European policy of fully backing the existence of this state.I do hope though that Israel appreciates this and will extend an olive branch in regarding the existence of an independent Palestinian state,which will have to become a reality soon.
