Germany eager to invest in Pak mobil oil sector

RAWALPINDI - Germany is fully aware of the problems being faced by the business community and the transporters of the country owing to hike in the petroleum prices and eager to invest in the Mobil Oil sector of Pakistan to enhance the trade relations between the two countries.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Liqui Moly (German based Mobil oil Company) Haji Muhammad Shaffi said this on Thursday while talking to the transporters and industrialists during his visit to Rawalpindi Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI).
On the occasion, RCCI President Syed Ali Raza Saeed, senior vice president Mian Muhammad Ateeq, vice president Dr Shimail Daud, member executive committee Col (Retd) Mehmood and other members of the Chamber were also present.
CEO Muhammad Shaffi said that Germany was ready to supply the mobil oil for the local industry and transport and also willing to invest in the country in the said sector, adding Pakistan would not only save its national exchequer but employment opportunities would also be generated in this regard. Speaking on the occasion, RCCI President Syed Ali Raza said that Pakistan has best environment for investment and RCCI would encourage the foreign investment in the region.
He demanded of the Government to facilitate the foreign investors to boost the national economy. He termed the German investment in the country as a positive gesture saying it would further strengthen the bilateral trade between the two countries. He ensured his full cooperation in this regard.
