My turkish friends i dont know but a few weeks ago you said you have the EU in your hands and now we must see that EU nations react more hostile towards turkey than ever before.

Unless EU develop cohones to close their border and deport refugees/migrants, Turkey would always have a vice like grip on EU's balls (if they exist. I seriously doubt their existence).

This whole "refugee crisis" was started by a pissed off Erdogan pushing refugees into EU as a payback for EU vetoing his plan to create safe zone in Syria and transferring Arab refugees into those zones, something which was a clever plan to change demography of Kurdish areas to Arab.

In comparison to this, political trolls in our country lack any sense of humour. The best they come up with is crass "degree dikhao PM saab" type of campaigns.

As long as you do not "legally" stop providing refuge to migrants, you would not get anything done. These migrants are showing up in Europe because they know for sure that they would get refuge ,and evenetually citizenship, in Sweden and Germany, so they are willing to weather temporary discomfiture for that. This migrant wave would not be stopped by hypocrisy.

When 100,000s of migrants show up at your border, wall goes down. After that you have option of shooting and/or deporting trespassers or surrender. Interning them of Island increases popularity of land route, or usage of longer distance capable boats.

This guy has no more friends. He was a fool for shooting down a Russian aircraft for allegedly violating Turkish airspace for mere seconds (yet the Turks violate Greek, Iraqi, Syrian airspace). The end results, billions in business lost and Turkmen terrorist being hammered.

Moreover his aggressive policies of targeting Kurds in Turkey, Syria and Iraq has blown up in his face. We hear weekly reports of Turkish soldiers being killed, Turkish military vehicles such as truck, tanks and howitzers are being destroyed. The other day a Cobra was shot down of course Turkey first claimed it was a mechanical problem. According to a Turkish member on here, the Turkish government also tried to cover up those destroyed howitzers.

Point is, he is a disaster, his world is crumbling around him. He is one of the most hated men in the world right now, yet he continues to threaten everyone.

They dont get refugee. ferry transport was stopped. They are kept in mud camps and held in desperate state. The goal is to make life unbearable for them. And it works. Conditions are so horrible they try escape back to turkey.

Meanwhile germany decalred all northafrican nations safe and started mass deportations + made it impossible for them to stay.

The numbers of migrants collapsed once the far right gained victory after victory in europe.

I think it works quite good so far. As long we treat them like shit and their numbers fall there is no reason to start industrial level killings yet

The Germans want to, for a better lack of words, 'piss off Turkey'. Politicians and regular people alike do not care for Turkey.

I was reading several US news outlets and many of the people, probably 95%, called Turkey criminal and many cheered and applauded the fact that a Turkish helicopter was shot down. I'm not saying it's right but it just illustrates the attitude that many people have towards Turkey.

Erdogan was discribed in the EU parliament as an demented elderly dictator who lost his mind. His foreign policies falling apart.

Erdogan broke with all around him. He started a civil war in his own country. Made Russia, Israel, Syria and Iran an enemy. Now starts to break with the EU. Tourism in turkey collapses.

The EU calls him openly the madmen from the Bosphorous. The Parliament said they assume he is only sorounded by people who dont tell him what nonsense he does.
