General Atomics debuts at DefExpo - sell (EMALS) ????

Nope. The IAC-2 design calls for a 65,000 tonnes ship, an increment of over 20,000 tonnes from the IAC-1 Vikrant's design which is being built at home at the moment. The US will obviously not be helping with any form of nuclear propulsion, its more akin to what they did with France where they provided the steam catapults for the R91. Similarly the US seems (from the presentations and interest shown) to be open towards providing either catapults or EMALS for the IAC-2 (although EMALS would necessitate nuclear propulsion, and the IAC-2 at the moment is in the preliminary design phase with nuclear propulsion being evaluated as an option).

I posted that thread because it contains a lot of information an a variety of smalller carriers (smaller than CVN, that is :o), not because I propose an 8k ton harrier carrier (smallest proposed was 5k ton ...!)
