I had a quick look at this. What I am going to say is not going to make any differance in the real world. Mud sticks. And it has stuck to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan like ticks stick to shite. At the perceptive level things will get worse for Pakistan. Meaning the world will think Pakistan is even more crapper then they think now and stuff like this map will keep doing more damage. Punch by punch.
Okay the guy who posted it Turkish. The map was prepared by using light emission as a guide to GDP productivity. This is where satellite imagery is taken and then a economic model is created from that which shows GDP.
There is enough evidence out there that shows this is a very good method of calculating real GDP in particular areas where paper documentation is weak like South Asia. All the previous light emissions models I saw showed Pakistan was doing better than the figures at World Bank. This report from 2015 shows quite the opposite. In face it has most of Pakistan as in utter poverty and not much differant than Afghanistan whereas across the border in Rajasthan it is land of milk and honey.
So what is going on? Simple. What has Pakistan being afflicted since 2012 over 2017? Massive electricity cut outs and
loadshedding, Result you get
this map which is using the
electricity cut outs in Pakistan as referance guide.
But you think that is going to make any diffearance? No. The damage is done. This is satellite imagery they used. It is clear Pakistan is in "loadshedding mode". The date is 2015.
