The origin of these problems are more than one.

Britain allows Gangsta Rap and the aggressiveness associated with it. I don't understand how a government can allow young louts to wear hoodies, gold chains and do aggressive gestures with their fingers and also use internet memes like "Thug life".

And then there are aggressive sports like rugby and football.

And then there are the religious thugs who act against gentle citizens within Britain or are sent by the British government to Syria or elsewhere to fight proxy war.

And then there are the White racist thugs.

Britain ( and any other country ) should channel the energies of, especially its youth, into creating a Progressive system within their country, and send activists to other countries to replicate the Progressive model.

I don't think so.

Arrogant young louts would simply put on a mask and attack people's shops and homes.

Young people are vulnerable to gangs and the image that shows in such Social media raps , it attracts them .. violence find its way even if guns are banned people use knifes, its human nature unfortunately .

Cuts in public services such as funding for police, education, youth services, social services, have all led to a situation where crime has increased and gangs have flourished.

In every town and city of the UK there are neighbourhoods where people live in run down, over crowded housing. The schools in the area are low quality and don't provide a decent education. There are no after school clubs or activities for youth. In these areas the only place young people can enjoy themselves is in the parks or on the streets. These are both areas targeted by gangs. There is not enough police to patrol all these areas so they operate with impunity. They will offer young kids companionship, money, clothes, games, phones even - thinks their parents cannot afford to give them. The kids can either accept these gifts or reject them in which case they risk the threat of bullying and violence.

These gangs then use these kids for petty crimes, running drugs, as look outs - as they get older, they use them for attacks too. Each area has their own gangs, members are fearful to venture outside of their own territory, so they all carry knives. For kids growing up in these conditions - the option is to either be in the gangs and make money selling drugs, or to be a victim of these gangs, all whilst working for a pittance in a minimum wage job on a zero hours contract.

In the past, parks had rangers, people who could monitor for criminal activity and misuse and report it to the police. This kept gangs away. In the past we had youth clubs were kids could go for free after school, socialise, relax under a supervised environment. These were also gang free spaces. Police would patrol the streets and estates so gangs would be wary of being stopped and searched. Schools provided people with decent educations, those without academic skills were put into technical colleges and apprenticeships. Dumb kids could make a career as a tradesperson. Today a lot of that support structure is gone. In most UK households both parents work - who looks after the kids? They started doing it to "liberate" their women, today they are stuck doing it to keep up with the price of everything.

Instead of spending money and resources on its own people, the British government spends its money on invading certain countries where the citizens generally live in peace.

Many may disagree but it is true. Growing up in this latest generation I can attest to the fact as well...

You can't blame multiculturalism for gang violence. Most gang violence is within communities of the same ethnic background and many criminal gangs are multi ethnic.

This is down entirely to cuts in services, coupled with weak sentencing.

You can't blame multiculturalism for gang violence. Most gang violence is within communities of the same ethnic background and many criminal gangs are multi ethnic.

Blaming rap music is like blaming video games for violence.

All that rap music is an act does not correlate to reality just like movies.
