Gang of thieves busted in capital
Islamabad: The Industrial Area Police Station has busted a gang of thieves and arrested its seven members for their alleged involvement in theft cases, the police spokesman said on Monday.
Following orders of DSP Gulfam Nasir, Industrial Area Police Station SHO Rana Muhammad Akram asked police officials to arrest the gang involved in theft of valuables of a company. The team arrested seven members of the gang involved in the theft case and recovered valuables worth thousands of rupees from them.
The arrested men were identified as Arif Masih, Tariq Masih, Yusuf Masih, Idrees, Younus, Dilawar and Shehzad. Meanwhile, the Margalla Police Station arrested Dr. Kartar Lal Chand in Sector F-8/3 after recovery of wine bottles and 216 beer cans during the search of his car (LV-876).
