Gajillion-Dollar Stealth Fighter, Now Easier to Shoot Down

The problem for the defenders is that distance. By the time they can detect an F-22, it is too late.

Ahh gone are the days that someone used quotes from F-15 pilots saying they couldn't put a weapons system on the F-22 even when they could "see the damn thing" ... !!!!

So now the detection has gone from no possible lock to a matter of distance. .. I see.... how interesting... now who was saying that..who? I can't remember...

seriously though ... stealth is such a huge issue to discuss... not because of the technology involved, but because of the investment required to make on it.


I fully aprove the F22 as a step, not for its price, but I trully do not understand the F35 and I will never support this plane unless things change dramaticaly about it and I am proved completely wrong.

Well...If by now you cannot understand the difference between 'detection' and 'track' and 'lock', there is no hope for you.

There are some research that says coffee is supposed to help in memory retention. Guess that did not work for you?

I can prove you wrong, but you might want to get some stronger coffee to help with the memory issue.

there is no current way to evaluate the F35 I am afraid though.

We need to see ( evaluate even ) how the integration of said plane in forces around the world will go. The planes abilities over different operational environments and any associated costs in day to day operations.

Also I don't think even you could possibly argue that any conflicts involving said plane will be anything that requires its "unique" abilities..or "exotic" technologies rofl I am certain that north korea, iran and a couple other targets for bombing practice by the US are all well within the capabilities of the teen fighters..

so ....... any possible even remotely unbiased and meaningful evaluation can only come from europe and the there LM customers .........
