Vaccine don't work well against new mutant strains. If they don't wear mask they will be infected.

I agree with that. I took a day off from work...and I work from home.

But the best sign that the vaccines work is the lack of updates to the US Covid thread after a solid year of daily updates.

Cases in US is pretty bad. About 33 million tested positive so far. Come fall in October it'll be much worse as people's immune drops due to cloud blocking sunlight and vitamin D and you will see lots of people who have recovered (and therefore carriers) test positive again.
