What's new

Frontier Corps has now emerged as a battle proven paramilitary.

Independent brigade is 3 to 5 x infantry battalion plus support elements so roughly 5-6 battalion, can be more so roughly 6x750 eq approximately 5k

Fc wings used to be ~1000 with companies so not sure if GB follow army battalion of 750 or fc wings with ~1000 men in arms

Fc wings are head by Lt Col. Now with respective upper rank being Col or brigadier like khyber rifles has 4 wings or 5 each headed by Lt Col and rifles as whole by Col or brigadier

There was a time major use to command wings but now it has changed

Secondly now fc is trained like regular army with its own battle school and other schools for Jcos and ncos

Does FC has mix people from all over the country or only from KPK..

.
any details because someone was claiming they get squat and i know very little about these things (apart from regular forces)
Its definitely lesser than what PA, PAF and PN personnel are given. So in comparison it could be squat.

Lmao.. since when did FC have troops from GB?

GB has its own paramilitary force.. the GB Scouts.

FC 2 Balochistan has troops from Balochistan with some sprinkling from KP areas.

FC 1 KP has troops from KP..

Panjab and Sindh same story.. although they also have some troops from other provinces but the percentages are low.

How do I know.. my father commanded an FC corps.
