Just a random thought.. and thought why not ask you all about your situation.. chime in with your 2cents, everyone.

How social are you generally ?

Mostly a hermit here but for maybe once or twice a month when I go out actively peopling.. very small circle of a literal single handful of people I hold dear, as true friends.. y'know, the ones you'll call without hesitation 4AM from the middle of nowhere should you have a flat and no spare, or blew an an engine, ran out of gas.. whatever, and they'll actually show up and be happy to help.

I am a sigma male. I can socialise excellently but prefer to be alone
No true sigma would say that about themselves :P

j/k

what about personality theory, you know of Jung/MBTI/Socionics, Enneagram etc

which gives me an idea for a new thread too, hmm.. 💡

Ain’t got a clue what that is.

I tend to make friendships out of necessity, or unless I can trust someone very well

Most of my friends either have jobs or families, as you get older you don't have much time to socialize anymore. You kinda get fed up with people in general as the days go on, that's just how life and society unfortunately is. For me I might hang out with friends like once or twice every week.

Cringe.

not completely sold on this (Enneagram) or any of the others but I do find nuggets of gold in sifting thru the lot of them, much of it holds true.

introversion/extroversion is real, for example.. we know it within ourselves and see it intimately with people we are close to, there are also different work styles, thinking styles (in terms of problem solving and so on).. it goes pretty deep, the whole thing..

are you a thinker or a feeler ?

ok

then what type of feeler or thinker are you, internally or externally oriented ?

Do you mostly work with tangible sense data or are you intuiting things without the need for tasting/smelling/feeling it ? or are you more given to having an innate need to azmao it beforehand.. and so on.

@Paitoo @Areesh @Irfan Baloch @muammar bhakt @.. all of you, really.

OR they hate you?

Don't know what option to choose.
I have a couple colleagues who I have regular gup shup with. We're pretty close.
But, can't say if I can consider anyone a friend anymore
