Why ~ is always that important question

But French have had colonies in past Across African in past it was only halted during WW2 , and now it seem French might have some interest in Arabian Lands

There was some treaty back in WW2 to split Arabia between UK and French
My mind slips the name but seem like a continuation of those plans


Just like the folks in East India Company who took over large subcontinent , the continent of Arabia has some value

QATAR = USA
UAE = FRENCH
OMAN = INDIA

The tiny monarchies of Bahrain /Qatar / UAE etc will have a difficult time

France and the UAE signed a mutual defence agreement in 1995. In 2007,the UAE requested a French military presence in their country. There's a naval base,an air force base and land base in the country.
