Anjem Choudary was convicted for 10 years for "supporting" Islamic state. Now to be clear this man has made some stupid statements in the past. Its also clear though that his conviction is only based on his opinions and not on any illegal action. Anjem Choudary is just another case of a muslim imprisoned in UK just because of his opinions (the most famous case is perhaps that of Abu Qatada). So what happened to freedom of expression in UK? Or is it one more of these glorious double standards western governments use?
