FranGlobal will make an investment of $39mn investment in the next two years

FranGlobal, the worldwide business augmentation of Asia’s largest franchising solutions company – Franchise India Holdings Limited (FIHL), will enter Bangladesh and make an investment of $39m in the next two years.
FranGlobal plays a vital role in favourably and profitably partnering diverse global companies for entry and expansion into the different topographies, reports the Outlook India.
According to the report, the Singapore-based company will provide all kind of support and services to the brands who want to enter in Bangladesh market.
It will also help the local Bangladeshi local who are planning to expand through locally and globally franchising.
Apart from this, the company will also provide Franchise Development Consultation to local Bangladeshi brands, facilitate liaison between international brands and Bangladeshi investors and arrange exhibitions and knowledge sharing events.
FranGlobal is organizing its first ever international franchise and retail expo in Bangladesh on Feb 24 at Westin, with the aim of making meaningful business connections.
Over 50 international and local brands from different industries in take part in the expo.
FranGlobal Chairman Gaurav Marya said as per PwC (Pricewaterhouse Coopers), Bangladesh is poised to be among top three fastest growing economies of the world by 2030.
He said Bangladesh has one of the largest concentrations of multinational companies in South Asia but only a handful of Bangladeshi brands want to expand their business oversees.
However, foreign franchisees are doing well in Bangladesh.
Stating it is a perfect time to enter Bangladesh market, he said over 50 brands will enter Bangladesh in the next two years and an investment of $39m will be made during this period.
He expects to create 2,500 new jobs in the Bangladesh market.
Currently, FranGlobal is operating in Canada, United Kingdom, India, Singapore and Greece along with other diverse geographies.
FranGlobal helped brands like The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, Gloria Jean’s Coffees, KFC, McDonalds, Sbarro, Levis, Benetton, Roberto Cavalli, Reebok, Baskin Robbins expand their operations worldwide.
