That doesn't bode well for the alliance. It certainly seems that Turkey and France are at loggerheads, but I don't believe a confrontation is pending. There's too much to lose.

France is not US. It will get decimated by the superior fire power of Turks in E. Mediterranean. Anyone can see that.

In any case, France is pretty irrelevant now. Turks are in Syria, Libya, Iraq...have bases in Qatar, Somalia etc. Turkish intelligence network in Sub-Saharan Africa dwarfs anything French. It was Turkish intelligence that freed Italian aid worker and brought her back home. While French were busy doing nothing as always. Even in Mali, French are losing influence.

Yeah we see and we also see that none of these moves have worked. The EEZ areas you claim are filled with Turkish ships. Military alliances are not working. France and military alliance may try to sink these Turkish ships if it is serious in its claim. Otherwise it is not taken very seriously.
