Turkey has been part of the western bloc since the 1950s. Like Japan, like Germany. Today, thousands of Turkish scientists and research assistants from the USA to Europe work in almost every leading company in the world. Likewise, these tens of global companies or institutions have produced tens of billions of dollars in goods and services with their investments in Turkey.

We have always carried this "being ally" responsibility militarily, politically, and even economically. We suffered the most from the Iranian embargo. While Iran was our most important economic partner, relations between Turkey and Iran were tried to be severed without taking any responsibility. When Saddam started his operations in Northern Iraq, 2 million Kurdish people were sent through the borders with the guarantees(lies) given by the USA, after which terrorist activities peaked in Turkey. When France started its invasion of Libya, we were so unprepared that we had to carry out one of the biggest rescue operations in its history. We evacuated 50,000 civilians as it rained bombs on Tripoli. Dozens of Turkish companies went bankrupt, financial losses were worth tens of billions of dollars.

We took part in all joint mission operations combatant elements, starting in Korea. Of course, there are a few exceptions... Until today, we have refused to take part in the combat elements only in Afghanistan. However, we tried to help the government, which is trying to be established with support units in the size of a brigade, with education, training, infrastructure, and health services. In the invasion of Iraq, even some states that seem to be hostile to the USA at the moment were on the bargaining table, while Turkey refused to participate in this operation and the USA could not open the northern front. However, Turkey could not have acted in the opposite direction in these situations. No matter what government is in power.

The main reason for the current campaign against Turkey is that it is turning into a state that puts its national interests first. That stupid persistence of the Americans for sanctions on Iran for over 30 years now is a bad policy.Same with Venezuela.
