QUETTA: Security officials nabbed at least 27 suspects, including four facilitators of the Quetta hospital bombing, in a combing operation in Mastung on Friday, while an anti-terrorism court in Naushki district handed down death and life terms to 15 accused.

Nine Afghan nationals were also among those rounded up.

A huge cache of explosives was seized during the combing operation, according to unnamed security sources.

The combing operation was carried out in the Kanak area of Mastung, some 25km away from Quetta.

Balochistan security forces claimed to have arrested four facilitators of the Civil Hospital carnage.

An anti-terrorism court handed down the death penalty and life imprisonment to 15 men accused of involvement in the killing of a Levies official and an assassination bid on the life of District Police Officer (DPO) Kharan Anwar Badini.

ATC Judge Justice Jaffar Mengal also fined each accused Rs200,000 besides awarding death sentences and life imprisonments.

The accused were involved in the killing of Balochistan Levies official Umar Shah and attacking DPO Kharan’s police mobile van. DPO Kharan and his driver were injured in the attack.

The culprits were charged with terrorism, murder, illegal possession of arms and ammunition, possession of explosives and an assassination attempt.

The main accused in the case, Mullah Ashraf, was given a quadruple death sentence while 14 of his accomplices were awarded death sentences three times.

The abettors included Maqbol Ahmed, Abdul Qayyum, Mohammed Yaqoob, Khuda Baksh, Rehmatullah, Zahoor Ahmed, Abdul Qadir, Amjad Ali, Mehboob, Hazoor Baksh, Abdul Qadus, Danyal, Badost and Shakil Ahmed.

This is how justice should be served to all terrorists, their facilitators and even to their defenders. => Quick and Ruthless.

Instead of filling up jails and feeding terrorists just to be released later by some anti-Pakistan lawyer or by terrorist attack, they should be hanged till death ASAP to make an example out of them. This is the only way to eliminate terrorism from Pakistan. We have lost more than 100,000 Pakistanis to terrorist attacks. Someone may call it a ruthless way but hanging terrorists till death is the only solution.

As a victim of Indian designs I know most arrests of Indian agents are not publicized to the media. Entire FIA though has been made a toy by India. Our institutions have been infiltrated by the Indians and try to frame innocent Pakistanis on terror charges. Pakistan should respond back and find any RAW agent they can and send him to his grave. They dare to come to our country and murder, rape, torture our people other than making fake videos of them claiming they are terrorists. If I got a job in ISI in a few days I would line them up and shoot them for their attrocities against Pakistan. That is the only proper response to Indian spies.

As for @A-Team. What do you have to say about this. 9 Afghan nationals were arrested too. its not just terrorists from Pakistan crossing the border but Afghans too. And I know 2 Afghans were caught a few days after hospital attack with explosives. The problem of cross border terror is mutual and this is me being neutral.

Pakistan is blamed both by the liberals and mullahs. I have not met one from these groups that does not blame Pakistan. The conservatives blame us for being linked with US and liberals for supporting the Taliban. Which version is true.

As I have said the durand line is a bigger issue and problem for Afghans than the terrorism situation. Afghanistan has to accept the durrand line before anything can happen. How can things work when they refuse to accept the demarcated border.

That is a very weak argument to say you seen this and that people calling Ashraf Ghani names,of course you support the elected gov in Afghanistan which is internationally recognized albiet she has her faults. How would you feel if we say oh we don't really know mate if we can do business with the state of Pakistan because thugs as such as TTP and some civilians call you names and puppets of the US ?

Pakistan must accept the sovereignty of the Afghan state and stop playing with words here.

Durand Line is not an issue, sane minds in Afghanistan accept its an international border but the current toxic environment makes it impossible for any leader to go outright and say it, those in the higher echelons will come to terms with this when the state-state relationship between Pak and AF gets normalized and how do you see that getting normalized when Pakistan backed barbarians are killing Afghans in droves?

If you are saying that Afghan Talis are not your proxies, not your project then I am afraid that we have no middle ground.
