Four bombs defused
KARACHI: The Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) defused four bombs planted on an electricity pylon near the Mochko check post in Mauripur police limits on Tuesday night.
BDS Sub-Inspector Ghulam Mustafa said they reached the site after receiving information from the police.
All four local-made bombs, which were planted in the pylon to cause power supply suspension from Baldia Town to Hub Chowki, were defused, added the official added. The officer also said each bomb contained one kilogramme of high explosives with detonators.
The bombs that were fit in plastic bottles were supposed to go off with the striker system, added the officer. staff report
