Former PPP minister given seven years in jail, Rs 370m fine

Lahore - Former provincial minister and former PPP Punjab Wing president Malik Mustaq Awan was on Friday fined Rs 370 million and sentenced to seven years in prison by the District and Sessions Judge (D&SJ).

According to the report, the session judge declared that Malik Mustaq had been involved in many corruptions cases including illegal tenders and Chongi taxes.
