please check again the number of Cobra, I think we have ca. 35

.
we must purchase 10 f-16s block52+ and 14 use f-16s mlu from usa

.
Based on the info

First Batch 1984-1986 : 20 Cobra Gunships provided
Second Batch : 2003, 40 Cobra Gunships delivered , based on US official document for supplied items)
Third Batch : Recent Supply of Additional 12+14 Cobra ships between 2007 / 2010

So it seems its clear we have more

In Wiki Records there is no trail of 2003 deliveries however the FMS document states stuff was delivered in 2003, there is no history of this in Wikipedia

Most people it seems Total the numbers between first batch and Thrid batch and forget about items delivered in 2003 , according to the document from US FMS grant site, 40 Gunships can't just vanish in thin air

Similarly there appears to be 2 Batch Delieveries of P3 Orion
First Batch 5 planes
Second Batch 8 planes

Coolest Item on purchase is not Doubt the Training Module for F16 Pilots it looks just so realistic

And the F16 package has really been beefed up nicely

Records also indicated

a) Attempts to get APC request of 500 was reduced to 69 APC
Just suprised why we did not get all 500 requested APC for usage
b) No Blackhawk helicopters were provided for Pakistan we requested 5 of them
c) Our request for Bell Helicopters was also reduced from 40 Copters to just 20
d) At one point we had ordered many Trainer planes however this was later cancelled

I still think compared to all over nations , we still get less from the program in general but the program does helps Pakistan

a) Consulting Engineering Help
b) Technical Support etc
c) Excess items

The Program also offers Finanical Loans , I don't think we have used that program yet

Well PEACEGATE 3 , and PEACEGATE 4 did not provide us with almost 65 F16 planes .... and even now we only ever got 18 F16 C/D plus some Jordanian jets

In order to close the chapter of 65 undelivered F16 , there should be a similar package announced for Pakistan Forces, a Order of 50 F16 Block 60 would be good considering in Peace Gate 3/4 days the planes we were to get was then Top of line. So today that is F16 Block 60

Pakistan - C-130 Fleet Upgrade Program | The Official Home of the Defense Security Cooperation Agency

WASHINGTON, Mar 11, 2014 - The Defense Security Cooperation Agency notified Congress today of a possible Foreign Military Sale to Pakistan for a C-130 Fleet Upgrade Program and associated equipment, parts, training and logistical support for an estimated cost of $100 million.

The Government of Pakistan has requested a possible sale of C-130B/E avionics upgrades, engine management and mechanical upgrades, cargo delivery system installation, and replacement of outer wing sets on six aircraft. Also included are spare and repair parts, support equipment, publications and technical documentation, personnel training and training equipment, U.S. Government and contractor technical and logistics support services, and other related elements of logistics support. The estimated cost is $100 million.

This proposed sale will contribute to the foreign policy and national security of the United States by helping to improve the security of a Major Non-NATO ally which has been, and continues to be, an important force for regional stability and U.S. national security goals in the region.

The proposed sale will facilitate the continued operation of the Pakistan’s Air Force C-130 fleet (five C-130B and eleven C-130E models) for counter-insurgency/counter-terrorism flights; regional humanitarian operations; troop transport; and Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) missions within Pakistan and in the region. The proposed modernization of the C-130 fleet should ensure continued viability for an additional 10-15 years.

.
what is actually physically delivered is 'different' than what is mentioned on the data-base which is not 100% updated for many cases.

.
Well it would be illegal for FMS site to report incorrect stuff based on US law as these are updated and displayed to Politicians

There are rumors circulating that UAE have asked US for refurbished MRAP's and thousands of these (appx 4500 vehicles requested). So if that goes through, we might see a considerable numbers being given to Pakistan.

UAE asks US to upgrade MRAP vehicles

Under the estimated $2.5bn sale, the UAE has requested the refurbishment and modification of a total of 4,569 MRAP vehicles, including 29 of the MaxxPro long-wheel base, 1,085 MaxxPro LWB chassis and 264 MaxxPro Base / MRAP expedient armour programme capsules without armour.

Additional MRAPs to be upgraded include 729 MaxxPro bases, 283 MaxxPro MEAPs without armour, 970 MaxxPro Plus and 15 MRAP recovery vehicles, as well as 1,150 Caiman multi-terrain vehicles without armour and 44 MRAP all-terrain vehicles.

Approved by the US State Department, the upgrade is scheduled to be performed on all MRAPs that were sold separately from US Army stock, pursuant to section 21 of the Arms Export Control Act, as amended for excess defense articles (EDA).
UAE asks US to upgrade MRAP vehicles - Army Technology

If this deal goes through (it is almost final already) it will see most of MRAP deployed in Afghanistan to be transferred to UAE. Now what i think will be better for Pakistan is either we do go for them and get these in significant numbers to equip significant units of our security forces. If this is not the case, there is no use in getting 30 40 or 50 of these as this really is one beast of a machine and spending on parts and maintenance will be a headache. So either get these in good quantity or do not go for them at all and develop something at HIT our self.
