OK, schools almost over and freshmen year was much harder than I expected it to be. Right now, my GPA is low (Please don't ask for it) can someone please enlighten me, and explain to me how I can improve my GPA next year.


P.S: I also heard if you could get a good GPA in a community college then you could go to a better college after doing good there. Is that true, or is it just plain b.s?

OK, so first of all, it's hard to improve your GPA in just one year. You have to get straight A's on your report card. But it depends on how much is your GPA for now.

also yes, it's good idea to go to community college, if your GPA aren't that good. many people go to community colleges because of financial issues or sometime because of low GPA.

You should have at least 84 to attend good high school.

You should have at least 86 or above if u are planning to go to 4 years college like me.

you are going to be a sophmore in high school?

ok here is the game plan to get into a good university.

study hard 8-10 hours a day and try to pull a 3.5 gpa if not 4.0 gpa per semester over your next 3 years in high school.

take the SAT in fall of junior year and get a 1400 - 1600. start studying now.

finaicial issues is a crap excuse for not working hard and getting good grades. everyone is eligible for full federal student loans/grants (FAFSA) and state/grants. (grants for those who have gpa above 3.0).

Even you got 4.0 GPA, there will be no $ from Federal for you, if u r illegal and Believe me, i know many people who are illegal here and can't get enough $ to pay for colleges/tuition.

I started off with D's and F's during sophomore year thanks to O-level crap that i couldnt keep up with in 9th grade.
