songs by great sufis have been sung by many singers, but each time u feel something special in it, no matter how many times u hear that song again & again never get bored of it. that's why i think sufi saints were great.

Simple, ek doosre se woh muqablay main nahi thay. Fundamentally the same applies to their strongest subject matters.

Lekin hum ne apna mazhab mulk se muqablay main laga dia hai. Na mulk jeetay ga, na hi mazhab.

anyone can his/her choice. but i personally think comparing baba bulleh shah with any other person is insult to that great saint.

Oho....is may tu koi shak nahi. Both had different styles and followed a different theme. But you know what, i dont dare compare anyone with Iqbal, but then BBS sometimes do make me think on these lines. i dont know if it's the punjabi language that he uses or something else, the content ofcourse undoubtedly is unmatched and ethereal, there's something that attracts me to his poetry, or else the likes of Perveen Shakir and Amjad Islam Amjad have been in my collection since long now.

Yaar koi Iqbal ya BBS aj b paida hojaye, atleast someone could clear our doubts, just imagine how Iqbal or for that matter BBS 'corrected' people before partition or on advent of Islam.

The fluid environment that we live in today, most people here are already quite confused. Media on the other hand create more doubts than clearing them up. How about another Iqbal today? Atleast that would be better than the likes of Zahid Hamids, Farhat Tajs, Ayesha Sadiqqas and Hamid Mirs...!!
