Election is complete science, it was good ploy of Imran Khan that he contested on most of the seats and lost just one, if anyone else would be contesting the election the result may have been different. For example, in Faisalabad if it would have been Farrukh Habib there is another group of PTI who would not vote for FH, but for IK vote of PTI was undivided but PMLN has two strong group in that area Sher Ali Group and Rana Sana Group.

Zain Qureshi is actively part of PTI since 2012 and has contested elections before as well. It's unjust to deny him a ticket just because he is son of SMQ.

SMQ's daughter on the other hand is pure case of family politics. She's a nobody in politics and got the ticket just because of her dad.

According to Article 223 of the Constitution of Pakistan, Imran Khan will have to vacate 6 seats within 30 days i.e. before November 16. shall resign and if he does not so resign after the expiry of the said period of 30 days all the seats to which he has been elected shall become vacant except the seat for which his nomination for election was submitted at the last time.

According to Article 223, the Election Commission has the responsibility to vacate 6 seats before 16 November and will be bound to hold elections in these 6 constituencies within 60 days, i.e. by 16 January.

PDM were rejected because the PMLN who were deeply entrenched in Punjab have their leaders who are fugitives. Mariyam also ran away. The second tier will never get a leadership role.

PPP got the other 2 seats. Zardari’s plan to wipe off the PMLN in Punjab are going as per plan.
