First Tianjin-produced helicopter to be delivery this year - People's Daily Online October 14, 2010
On Oct.13, the first homemade helicopter from Tianjin Binhai is going to complete assembly in the Tianjin base of AVIC helicopter. It is scheduled to complete testing and be delivered within this year, according to the AVIC Helicopter Co., Ltd.
The helicopter is a 2-ton AC311 light utility helicopter for civil use and can be widely used in medical treatment, relieving, coaching, suppressing smuggling, fire protection, tourism and other fields.
