First Tamil Rebellion against India

The rebellion against Hindi rule started in Tamil Nadu on January 25, 1965. It ended on February 13, crushed under the heavy boots of FOREIGN soldiers and police brought into Tamil Nadu to teach a lesson to Tamils and keep them enslaved to Hindi-Hindian rule.

Thinathanthi newspaper has documented 63 shooting deaths of civilians during the 1965 Anti-Hindi Agitation (January 25 - February 13). 62 of them were in just one week in February (This is MORE THAN the number of shooting deaths of civilians in Tamilnadu during demonstrations against British rule in all those years of Congress-led independence movement (I counted 32 shooting deaths in history books).

Out of the Indian provinces, Tamil Nadu is near the top in terms of economic/social/development indicators.

Considering how well they have done in the Indian union, it is highly doubtful that they would engage in splittism.
