Complete Integration of Chinese C-705 anti-ship Missile onboard Pakistani MRTP-33

The C-705 air-launched anti-ship missile is the latest variant of the C-701 series, featuring a maximum range of 75km without the rocket-booster, or 170km when fitted with a rocket –booster. Using a GPS/inertial seeker, the missile carries a 110kg warhead and flies at an attitude of 12.15m above the sea level. As far as I know, Visby program was cancelled.
Yonca-Onuk has a new project called MRTP-42. It is designed as multi-capable fast missile craft having resistance on ocean conditions. MRTP-42 is able to face with multiple sea targets thanks to missile/weapon/gun systems, will be offered for USA CoastGuard...

SEPTEMBER 23, 2011
Turkish and Egyptian officials have discussed military cooperation during the recent visit of Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdoğan to Cairo last week. According to Özcan Ertem , Vice President of Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) the prospects of selling the new Anka MALE UAV were discussed.

According to Turkish sources, Turkey will also deliver to Egypt six multi-role tactical platform, MRTP-20 ‘fast-intervention crafts’, produced by Yonca-Onuk. Three boats will be constructed in Istanbul and the others in Egypt’s Alexandria shipyard using Turkish supplied kits.

Turkish and Egyptian navies will take part in exercise called Bahr El-Muhabbe (Sea of Friendship) between 17 and 23 December 2011. The exercise will be hosted by Turkey and will be executed in Eastern Mediterranean.

According to the press release of Turkish Navy, the aim of the exercise is to develop mutual cooperation and interoperability between two navies.

Turkey will participate with two frigates, two fast attack craft, one tug, two patrol boats and one special forces team. Additionally airplanes from Turkish Navy and Air Force will take part in the exercise too. Egypt will submit two frigates, two fast attack craft, one replenishment tanker, one helicopter and one special forces team.

The location and the timing of this exercise are well worth of noting. And further more my inner voice tells me that at least one ex- Perry class frigate from both navies will take part in this exercise. And on board of Turkish G class frigate the Turkish officers will show off their modern CIC and the GENESIS modernization to their Egyptian counterparts.

Great, as you all know, not too far ago, our Navy was part of yours. We share the same history, and no matter what happens, we will share the same future. Good Luck to both countries.
