I still can't see any target customer for these cars with your tiny domestic market with 300,000 something auto sales...

Designed by Italians and using BMW engine and components, price would be on the high end. IMO, only upper income and middle upper income people can afford, certainly not many Vietnamese.

Domestic market cannot absorb 250,000 high end cars, so what export markets are they aiming for?

Passenger car market is very competitive, almost like a dog eat dog world. Best of luck to Vinfast.

Basically Vietnam is just assembling the cars. It's similar in Canada where Japanese and American car makers built plants to assemble cars.

Any Small Hatchbacks in Line? South Asia and East Asia is huge Market for Hatchbacks.

Nonsense. The car is designed and manufactured by a Vietnamese company. The company uses domestic and foreign suppliers but which carmaker can make everything?

No joke: the company wants to sell cars in China. Chinese are plentiful and have money.
