What's new

First 'Imran Khan' was removed then came the 'Flood' | Affectees complain to Lt Gen Asif Ghafoor

Just like Niazi admitted that his politics was more important than the flood we are in.
At least Gen Ghafoor is going around doing something while Niazi is still busy in his petty politics.
Ghafoor is doing sifar zero , treating civilians like gutter rats and insulting them..

Well, it was always rotten, we just realized it now. They were hiding behind a facade of so-called saviors.

Many of us thought they were a lot less rotten than the dynastic political elite of the PMLN & PPP and supported them out of a misplaced sense of nationalism, hope and belief that the Army would do what is necessary and always had the country’s best interests in mind.

Now that the blinkers are off, turns out the Army leadership is even worse and has in fact been responsible for the decay and lack of progress in our civilian institutions because of their greed for power and control going back to Ayub Khan.

"Beginning to look like?!" For some here, may be. :D

But this has been as clear as day for nearly fifty years already. The nation has paid a very high price in terms of its abysmal social development that will hamper its participation in the 21st century, surely. A modern day Aegean Stables, no less.

We've always talked about no development during civilian rule while it lasted, but none ever asked the army what their role was while they ruled—they're all two sides of the same coin.

It proves that Wardi do not play politics and take care of all people including PTI folks but PTI folks cannot resist the urge to play politics even in such situations. Shameless.

You either need to get on some medication or get off the current meds you are on. What Ghafoor said is to keep quiet, continue eating, and don't question anything; this is not something you say or act out while in this situation.

"Petty politics" lol... when corrupt mafias are sitting in gov, and keep coming back again and again, it's no longer about politics, it's about our survival as a country.

None? Excuse me, but some of us have been questioning it all along, and being attacked for it. It is only recently that the winds changed on PDF.
