Are you kidding? The First Crusade swept the Seljuks and eventually Arabs filled their places. The majority of the muslim forces in most of the Crusades in the Middle-East,was made up of Arabs. Damascus,Halab,Hama,Homs,Damietta and Cairo. They were Arab majority. Occasionally had Arabized Kurdish leaders or Mamluks(later on and mostly in Egypt).

The LNA took too long to start the final attack because they were hoping for negatiations and a peaceful solution,at the same time the TuAF was bringing in men,supplies and mercenaries from Syria.
