Chief of Army Staff (COAS), General Ashfaq Parvez Kayani visited Bahawalpur Cantonment and Khairpur Tamewali. He visited various projects and facilities in Bahawalpur Cantonment.

Later, COAS witnessed field firing exercise at Khairpur Tamewali. He appreciated the professionalism and dedication of the units involved in the exercise and lauded the standards achieved.

Interacting informally with the troops, he emphasized the need for enhancing professional competence to meet all challenges including conventional wars and Low Intensity Conflict.

Earlier on arrival in the area, COAS was received by Corps Commander Bahawalpur Lieutenant General Naeem Khalid Lodhi.

We produce A-100s ... official figures are still not out but the rumour has it tht they r in 3 digit figures.

As of 2008 Pakistan had or was in process of raising 8 to 12 Regiments armed with 300mm MLRS and its associated systems.

We are mass producing them so i am sure the numbers of 30+ regiments wont surprise me.
................................................................................................

While we also produce KRL which uses guided munition with a range of 40 KM..(Thanks to the french).
Probably in hundreds aswell.

..................................................................................................
And BM-21 grads r also operated them... i think around 200 or more.

...
What I heard they bought 9 batteries, each comprising 4 launchers. Each with 10 launch tubes.

the HQ-19 procurement is not confirmed as yet!!
i wish we get these, we are in real need of a good SAM system

Yes sir Agreed. Our defence is nearly poor without them, as our possible enemies have laid hands on Sukhois.

But I am not sure, but I think I saw somewhere that we have them in our Arsenal ??
